RNA assays - transcriptomics

TempO-Seq™ is most frequently used for gene expression profiling. TempO-Seq RNA assays do not require nucleic acid extraction or cDNA conversion and therefore foregoes steps prone to RNA loss or bias. TempO-Seq can analyze gene expression data from crude cell lysates in a 96-well format or FFPE tissue directly. Furthermore, TempO-Seq does not have a 3’ bias and therefore offers superior data quality compared to other approaches.

We offer “off the shelf” whole transcriptome and surrogate (S1500+) panels for human, mouse and rat. However, we can build fully custom panels for any gene or isoform of interest, from any species of interest.

This makes TempO-Seq hugely flexible for a variety of applications. We furthermore actively support new applications and developments and are looking for collaborations in areas such as liquid biopsy, mental health, and more.

TempO-Seq RNA analysis can be carried out with commercially available kits in your laboratory or as a service by BioSpyder. Please speak to us about your needs and we’re happy to discuss the options.


miRNAs or ncRNAs

While our “off the shelf” panels focus on coding RNAs., TempO-Seq detection is not limited to mRNAs. Sensitive detection of miRNAs or other ncRNAs is also possible and we are happy to generate custom oligos for your project of interest.

DNA assays

Similar to ribonucleic acid (RNA) sequences and gene expression, TempO-Seq allows for detection of DNA with high specificity and sensitivity from almost any type of input. Based on its underlying biochemistry and detector oligo design, our assay can detect single nucleotide mutations, polymorphisms, fusion genes, and other mutations of interest. This single-base specificity against point mutations is described by Yeakley et al. (2017).

Methylation assays
